Student Assistance Program (SAP)
Silverdale Baptist Academy is now offering a Student Assistance Program (SAP) to all students. This is a voluntary program that provides various support services designed to meet your child’s social, emotional, and behavioral needs. It is a free service. There is no cost to you or your child.
Students can be referred to the counselors by:
Parents/Guardians - call 423-892-2319 x2256 or fill out the Student Referral Form
School Personnel - submit via the Student Referral Form
Themselves (MS/HS only) - stop by the Counseling Office or fill out the Student Referral Form
MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE STUDENT IS SEEN BY THE COUNSELORS - Parent Permission Form
The counselor team is comprised of Certified Student Assistance Professionals and licensed counselors. Our goal is to work with you in order to offer support and recommendations for your son or daughter. Additionally, our team can provide information so families may access community resources.
Parents are a vital part of your child’s success and we recognize the importance of parent/guardian involvement in this process. With your permission, your child can self-refer (MS/HS only) to the counseling team if they feel like they need to talk with someone about problems or issues they may be facing. If your child were to give us information that indicates he/she is at risk to harm themselves or others, then we would notify you immediately.
By completing the Parent Permission Form, you are giving us permission to speak with your child should the need arise.
Silverdale Baptist Academy is excited to offer such an invaluable service to you and your child.
Thank you again for partnering with us. We are honored!
