Frequently Asked Questions

HOW LONG WILL THE PARADE LAST?

The short answer is as long as it takes! We're looking at around 1 hour.

HOW WILL GRANDPARENTS CONNECT WITH GRANDCHILDREN AFTER THE PARADE?

They will park and enter the Athletic Complex through the main tunnel entrance. All K-12 homeroom classes will arrange on the football field and have signage for grandparents to come and get them to enjoy the day. Preschool students will be in class and we can have golf carts to assist grandparents to get them if so desired.

HOW DOES ARTFEST AT THE ATHLETIC COMPLEX WORK?

We will have lunch served out of the Hungry Hawk food trailer, multiple photo booths, and our praise band and choir will be performing. There will also be stations for building a family tree, clay ornaments, coloring, and caricatures, and a graffiti wall and chalk zone. So much to do with your grandkids!

You'll be assigned to a color-coded rotation around the complex that is based on the last name of your grandchildren, with more information being shared when you arrive. Basically, your color code determines where you go and when for Artfest at the Athletic Complex. So you can be prepared, here are the color-coded breakdowns by grandkid last name:

GREEN: A-E

PURPLE: F-J

RED: K-O

BLUE: P-T

ORANGE: U-Z

WHAT IS THE LUNCH MENU?

Lunch will consist of a BBQ sandwich, potato chips, cookie and a bottled water. There will be a black bean burger for those with dietary restrictions.
